#4 of Top 25 Cigars of 2021, Cigar Aficionado
94 points, Cigar Aficionado
9/10, Leaf enthusiast
Few cigars carry the prestige and instant recognition of the Partagás Serie D No. 4. As the standard-bearer for the brand’s historic "Alphabet Series," the SD4 delivers an uncompromising smoking experience that remains a favourite among seasoned connoisseurs. From the initial light, the palate is met with the signature Partagás "punch"—a robust combination of earthy spice and dark wood that speaks to the high-quality tobacco of the Vuelta Abajo region. Despite its strength, the cigar maintains a surprising level of refinement, with the flavours deepening into a creamy, leathery richness in the final third. It is a legendary smoke that demands attention, perfect for those who appreciate a cigar with character, weight, and a storied heritage.
